Freya’s annual haul out is fast approaching and we are looking for volunteers to help!!
The boat comes out of the water on Friday April 16th, with the work party commencing Saturday April 17 at 1000h.
Flotilla Captain Jeff Ashwell is asking for volunteers to help with the following tasks:
1. Sanding and painting of the hull and sail drive: 4-6 Vikings
2. Hull waxing, chrome polishing: 6-8 Vikings
3. Sail drive maintenance including oil, filter and coolant replacement, propeller and seal maintenance (4 Vikings, 2 with experience).
4. Other miscellaneous tasks: 4 Vikings
Some work may continue on the Sunday, depending on how much we get done. (I’ve given estimates of how many people are needed but of course, the more Vikings, the merrier the event!)
