The Viking Sailing Club’s Beach Fleet Training commenced in earnest for 2010 on Thursday 22nd April, with regular sessions going forth for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout Spring and Summer to train Novices for their Intermediate ratings.

See the training schedule to check for Novice pairing with a Senior; contact Vice Commodore Mark Johannes with any questions, particularly if you cannot make your scheduled session.
Novice Vikings will be trained in boat rigging and on-the-water sailing sessions to reach Intermediate status. Note that should the wind pick up over 12 knots, Novice training cannot proceed – please contact Mark if unsure – Viking Intermediates may then have the opportunity to nab a Senior to work towards their Senior rating, if the wind doesn’t exceed 20 knots.
