Study the safe boating guide and come prepared to write the exam.

PCOC / VHF radio exam
$100 for VHF portion, $50 for PCOC portion
April 11th and June 13th
This course runs 8 hours including instruction and two exams. The first 2 hours are a review of the material in the PCOC exam, followed by the exam. The remainder of the course includes material on the Digital Selective Calling System and basic radio operation. Upon completion students receive the Radio Operator’s Certificate, Marine.
